Dear Mr. Thompson,

As the Commanding Officer of the 213th Area Support Group from Allentown, currently serving in Iraq, I am writing to thank you personally for supporting our soldiers.

Thank you, for taking time out of your busy day-to-day lives to show your support.  A letter or package will always make the day better.  Our troops were very pleased to see the DVD’s and CD’s expressing your support for them.  It helped the troops to “take it easy and unwind” for a few hours.  Please convey our special thanks to everyone who supported you in your efforts.

In appreciation for your generosity and as a reminder of those you support, I have enclosed a photograph of the HQ 213th Area Support Group.

Again, thank you.  Knowing that we have the support and prayers of folks like you back home makes us all feel proud.

                                                                              Sincerely,
